Biography

Nikos Angelidis was born in Athens in 1957. From 1977 to 1982 he studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he also attended courses in icon and fresco painting. He worked as a teacher for six years in secondary education, which he then left in order to devote himself to painting full time. He presented his work for the first time at the “Nees Morfes” Gallery, with which he enjoyed a collaboration of many years. At present he has nine solo exhibitions to his name as well as quite a few more group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He lives and works in Athens.
