Antiparos International Photo Festival

Antiparos International Photo Festival will be held from 10th to 18th July 2021 in the beautiful 15th century Castle with free admission.

After one year of intensive work behind the scene, the AIPF team gladly presents a series of photography, music and educational events.

Fifteen photographers from around the world are selected by a distinguished jury panel to showcase their visual on “The Wild Side”. All artworks will be exhibited as always on the walls of the 15th century Castle, which creates a unique, enchanting atmosphere.

Fujifilm Hellas rewards Vasilis Nempegleriotis, voted as the overall winner by the selection committee, with a Fujifilm X-A5 camera and a Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 lens.

Bringing his visual of the Wild Side, AIPF 2021 Guest of Honour Stratos Kalafatis, will present photographs of his global reach essay “Athos: Colours of Faith”. A unique artistic journey in this 1,000-year-old male-only religious community in Greece will be hosted at the Anti Art Gallery, Kastro Antiparos, from 10th to 30th July 2021.

For the first time in Antiparos, Magnum photographer Enri Canaj will lead an intensive and interactive 3-day workshop (11, 12, 13 July), offering the opportunity to learn and improve a visual narrative.

During the festival, three music concerts will surround the one of a kind atmosphere at the Kastro. Admission is free.
