A concert, a workshop and a lecture to open the festival

Concert

Rosey Blue & Johnie Thin Opening Concert

Rosey Blue and Johnie Thin meet again on stage to attempt a meeting-themed partnership.

Against the backdrop of the colourful canvas of the American folk music tradition, where the Irish ballad coexists with the Delta blues, and the spirituals with the radical folk of Greenwich village, the two musicians and friends will seek through their musical encounter to capture the wild and serene beauty, sounds and aromas that have no latitude and longitude.

Workshop

phototography workshop

As part of the Antiparos International Photo Festival 2021, we are delighted to host a workshop conducted by the eminent Magnum photographer Enri Canaj.

For the first time in Antiparos and from 11th to 13th July, Magnum photographer Enri Canaj will lead an intensive, interactive three-day workshop offering photographers the opportunity to improve visual narrative, and most importantly, guide them along the path to discovering their own visual language.

Participants will be able to share and discuss their projects from conception to completion, and explore further opportunities for disseminating their authentic visual narrations.

Intended for passionate amateurs to professional photographers, Enri’s workshop will enable participants to discover new approaches to refining their storytelling, and improve their story composition through analyzing situations, image composition, and learning more about the editing process.

Images will be reviewed at the beginning of each day, with participants shooting during the rest of the day and evening. Visual language will be your only magical tool for exploration.
